Skateboard Boy - ORIGINAL PAINTING

Skateboard Boy - ORIGINAL PAINTING
Rolling through summer with a Bomb Pop in one hand and questionable judgement in the other. When we were told to stop watching TV and go outside. I remember finding the steepest hill nearby to take the skateboard down. The only way to stop was steering into the grass and tuck-and-roll.
The fruit-patterned wallpaper design hints at vintage kitchens. I would run in to grab a popsicle, track dirt across the linoleum, and run back outside before anyone thought to stop me. The banana peel is somehow equal parts joy and catastrophe. It’s the classic cartoon warning that trouble is always one kick-push away.
